About the Artist

Cortny Cognasi grew up in West Texas and attended Texas A&M University in College Station before calling Austin home in 2017. She began creating stained glass art in 2024 and now works out of her garage-turned-home studio.

Although Cortny works in healthcare tech by day, she's passionate about learning and pushing her limits with glass—her creative obsession. Her pieces feature geometric designs, animals, flowers, and other natural themes, often combining multiple glass techniques in unique ways to create art that is truly original.
